James has been a food and culture writer since 2014 with a focus on cuisine in the city of Long Beach.

His goals include uplifting local eateries and encouraging people to try cuisines outside of their comfort zones.

He currently writes for LA Taco and maintains the @lbfoodcoma influencer profile on Instagram where he showcases behind-the-scenes footage of how food is being made across the region. 

He has been featured on ABC7 and On Air with Ryan Seacrest, and has won the Absolute Best of Long Beach Awards for Best Influencer and Video Editor, and Long Beach Post Reader’s Choice Best Instagram on several occasions.
